As the catbirds call a flash of electric blue catches my eye when a ulysses floats by. There are platypus in the creek and a layer of soft, green moss covers the rocks and the trees. This landscape, the creatures, the rainforest, inspires my pieces and grounds me while I create in the Wet Tropics of Far North Queensland.
